1437 The Locomotive Crew Intercom System is an ideal intercom/radio communications solution for the demanding railroad environment.
Our LCIS provides a reliable and effective solution for communicating in locomotives with high noise levels.
The 40407G-04 Master Control is the heart of the system and is used with the 40380G-xx Series Headset Stations and DCCI railroad headsets to provide crisp, clear intercom communications for up to ten crewmembers, all of whom have radio transmit capability.
Full duplex intercom means that multiple parties can speak at the same time and there is no loss of communication.
The housing is weather resistant and RFshielded for long-lasting, trouble-free operation.
Headset stations and radio connections are achieved through the use of screw-down type terminal strips on the PC board inside the Master Control, affording solder-free and hassle-free system wiring.
A 3/4″ conduit opening is pre-drilled, to accommodate optional cable securing methods such as conduit fittings, Liquitite, strain-relief fittings or wiremold surface raceway options.
